Electrically wire replacement fan light and socket. Current switch is for existing down light and old exhaust fan. The old fan was plugged in. I’ve taken the old fan out and installed the new 3 in 1 light, heat light and fan. It’s a pretty straight forward wiring job. The access is next to my man hole, so you won’t have to climb into the roof, just stand on a ladder like I did. The new light needs to be wired to the existing wiring in the roof and then the new switch socket needs to be sorted. The new switch has four switches (light, heat bulbs and fan). Option one would be to keep the existing light switch and change it to a singular switch for the down lights. Or option two would be (if possible), totally get rid of the existing switche and some how connect the existing down lights to work with the light switch on the new product. Hopefully I’m not confusing anyone. Not a long or dirty job. Everything is in place and everything is easily accessible for requiring. Just need a qualified electrician to carry out the work. I have an IL VE freestanding gas/electric oven and I need 5 ignite switches and 3 elements inside the oven fixed. Oven is only 6years old but it’s been in storage for 2.5years and I have had an assessment and needs replacing due to not being used.
