Urgent request for a one-time deep clean of my home on Monday 27th of May or Tuesday 28th of May. Due to overwhelming circumstances, my house has become extremely messy. I am a parent of two energetic toddlers who, as you can imagine, leave a trail of toys, books, crackers and various items scattered throughout the house on a daily basis. The mess and clutter have snowballed to a point where it's become too overwhelming for me to manage. Hence, I am seeking professional assistance to restore order and cleanliness to my home. I am aware that this is not a typical cleaning job. Therefore, I am looking for a team of 2-3 individuals who can commit approximately 3hours to thoroughly tackle different areas of the house. Here's an overview of the tasks that need to be addressed: Living Room/Toddler Toy Area: Organising toddler toys and books. Cleaning/pulling toys/misc items from under couch. Dining Area: Sorting and organising miscellaneous items on the dining table. Sorting and putting away clothes. Detail wiping down of high chairs. Kitchen: Decluttering bench. Disposing of expired food items in pantry and organising pantry. Deep clean of microwave. Decluttering the cupboard. Bathroom: Cleaning of bath, shower and vanity unit. Also cleaning of toilet. I’m a bit embarrassed by the state of my room and I just need someone to come and deep clean it, cupboards and all. There’s a lot of stuff just everywhere and I need help with it as it brings anxiety. This clean is specific to only my bedroom and perhaps helping to sort clothes into piles for washing. Hi Aisha, I have ADHD, three children, and lots of ‘projects’. All of this has been manageable until the past three weeks. An unplanned major plumbing issue (outside) meant that I spent a few weeks managing a huge emergency dig up of our courtyard space, then repaving, cleaning etc. and THEN it has had to be all dug up again. During this time regular tasks piled up, things were placed wherever they could be, and clean clothes became a floordrobe from hell. I have also had four debilitating migraines during ten days (currently in bed with one) which has not happened before either! Usually one and I lose two days max. The situation now is that one room is covered in (clean) pieces of fabric and clothing that form the basis of the sewing projects I was starting before the plumbing disaster. The tool cupboard, recently organised and labeled clearly by me, has been raided and shoved back too many times so it’s chaos and there are tools and bits and bobs all over the house. There are piles of objects I was fixing or grouping for sale and donation, as well as empty bags and tubs. I keep ‘shoving’ it in cupboards and closing the door and then need to pull it all out to get the ‘one’ thing someone needs in a hurry! It’s all clean, and I don’t have hoarding issues, in fact I’m very keen to get rid of things and organise everything into its logical place, BUT it’s now so tangled together that without extra person-power and uninterrupted hours (my kids are 3,5, and 11 and each need the usual shopping, cooking, care, attention, clean clothes and school pickups etc as a minimum) that I need help! I’ve lost ten days of life to migraine and am barely scraping through. So I really want to hire someone/two people to come in and simply group like-with-like, rehang or fold my own clothing, and give me a head start! I have lots of tubs and those big ikea bags that we can mark with masking tape ( ‘boots’, ‘kid art’ etc) for me to go through and find logical homes for later or in a separate piece of work, but for now, it’s just to please ‘tidy, group, and fold/hang’. Is this something you’ve did me before? It looks like my house has been ransacked because it has! Repeatedly! And it’s gotten away from me. My husband works from home and is desperate for tidy but has no hours to commit to it between work and care of our three kids while I’m sick. It’s a lovely house, and under normal circumstances I have had it showroom ready for Airbnb guests even, but it currently looks like an explosion of stuff and it’s overwhelming me.
